Interfaith Alliance for Immigrant Justice
In response to the passage of discriminatory laws that contradict core religious values, a wide array of religious groups in cities across the nation have united to support immigrant justice rights. In Gainesville, people of faith have been supporting immigrant justice for years, through the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and the Interfaith Action network. Now the Interfaith Alliance for Immigrant Justice (IAIJ) is helping to create a firm foundation for Gainesville faith groups to organize the immigrant justice movement.
